Rebuilding the City

After collecting and photographing rubble from 12 sites around the Phoenix area, diagrams were created from the photos of rubble piles and scribed into plexiglass. Knotted thread was attached to each connection point in the diagram and, during the performance portion of the piece, unraveled and collected into a pile with the rubble.
